Hi all,
After trawling through google for hours I have decided this forum looks the most friendly and type of forum I am used to posting on and reading...on totally different topics to share trading.
Im a 34 year old guy from the UK and am looking at starting trading shares as my ISA's interest rate is totally crap.
Yesterday I took the plunge and invested £2k into shares...to be honest i think i got abit over excited having a share account and have probably made totally nooby mistakes and no doubt lose plenty of money.
I have tied up in ISA about 8k more which im thinking of investing for mid to long term gains.
I dont like throwing money down the drain so have decided to take a step back, read and join a forum where i will be able to talk to decent, experienced and knowledable guys....id imagine like any forum there will be plenty of idiots to avoid too...but thats half the fun.
Im not expecting anyone to come now and make me a millionaire and im also not 100% sure on the forum rules regarding talking about which shares etc to buy into.
All ill say for now is ive invested into a couple of big and a few small engergy companies...can you name names? is it wise too?
Anyway if youve read my babble this far id like to say hi to the T2W forums and members and if anyone would like to point me in the right direction regarding what to read 1st etc. and abit of nooby share trading advise id much appriciate it.
