10730 holding up well.

10700 likely to be res if it breaks

dax over the last 48 hours

that minor downtrend been taken out/red
into a consolidation

.now what ??
could consolidate further
break upwards or move down again

then we look at the consolidation which ocurred at the end of the break of the red trendline
looking for clues on direction of the breakout

new minor uptrend formed
confusion is that it has big recoils...lol

hence we saw the upside break in the dax at the open
stop tightened

stopped out for a great run
chart posted at 8.12 AM
10690 supp hit 6 mins later and whammo !!

classic p/f trading
price went into a tight range before it broke
in a bullish mood since we had the break of trend marked at the open
was a bit squeemish...so did an OCO

Dentist what TF is that chart you posted?

the time input was 5 min...but...that is not the talking point
my "look back horizon" is only 500 units on whatever time frame..ie 500 bars

i have set this up especially...it forces me up to a higher timeframe if i want to look back further..ie i dont want to load too much chart data as i am looking for trends..i then break down the chart into bullish and bearish sections with trendlines

Agreed. Just got a fake breakout of 10780 on the 5 mins

bouncing off 755 quite a bit, see if it holds... a confirmed bull flag would suit me tbh!
