I use 4H and DAILY timeframes and stop orders for 'naked' trading. I do take positions out manually in some cases.

FX trading blew out of hands immediately. It got too hectic and I just couldn't handle what I was doing.

I'm going to try another way and make real use of this journal. I'll take screenshots of things I'm watching and hopefully I'll be able to keep things in better order.


Gold price is currently at strong resistance. Daily chart shows support at 1750.

For now I'm going to leave a short order below 1750. Could be a nice move down if it breaks.

GBP/USD

Trading in a pretty narrow range on the weekly chart. Currently at the upper levels.

On the daily chart bearish PA forming.

3H chart is giving me a good enough point for short entry if it happens soon.

CHF/JPY

At a level that has shown S/R on the weekly chart. Possibly forming a bearish candle.

Daily close below that line could be a good enough signal.

Monthly and weekly charts showing S/R area at 1.28

2H chart showing a BT and retest of 1.275

I think this is one that needs to be trailed closely.

Could be a trade on the daily if 102 breaks and holds.

Just kissed the 1.3 level today and gave an opportunity to go long on the 4H chart, which I took. Demo...

I'm also watching out for possible short below 1.295

Testing support at 1.23 S/R on the weekly chart.

There was a long opportunity on Daily chart. I took it on demo.

Could be entered from the Weekly also.

Missed the action on 4H chart but could be entered from Daily if 127 doesn't hold.

NZD/USD

Has so many S/R levels in a tight range. I'm still placing an order below the candle that that broke .825 on Daily chart and see if it hits in a day or two.

Seems to be S/R around 0.93

Daily bars give a nice short entry point. Demo order it is.

I think this is one that needs to be trailed closely.

I entered on the break of that 2H bar. Now I think I should have been waiting for 4H chart to confirm.

Well, I'm in now. I traded from real account and only afterwards noticed the wide spread there was. Still making these stupid mistakes.

I'll be monitoring all the way to 15M charts and keeping stop tight.

I'm in CHF/JPY EUR/JPY GBP/EUR GBP/JPY GBP/USD NZD/USD

EUR/USD and EUR/CAD stopped. I think I was rushing the stoploss on E/C. And I could have entered E/U earlier, there was an hourly bar good for entry.


USD/CHF seems to turn to the upside. Waiting for Daily entry.

1,25 seems to be fairly strong S/R level in daily chart.

4H gives a retest and possible break to downside. I placed stop order from demo account.

I missed the long trade on the daily bars.

Theres now a possible short on 4H if ,98 holds. I placed order on demo.

Broke up and order cancelled. Let's see what happens. I'm still looking for a trade opportunity at these levels.

It came instantly back down 0,98 and if it continues down I might trade the close of this 2H candle.

Dipped 0,82 and bounced back to stop me out. Could be a long if daily closes above 0,83.

I placed a somewhat risky buy order above 0,83. I don't have time to wait for the Daily candle to close. DEMO
