It's not suppose to keep you out of flat trends all the time.Otherwise you will have trending markets all the time.But if it can keep you out of flat trends some of the time it can reduce your losses.It's not some rookie that coded the indicator either.

It is still untested ofcourse so i will just see how it goes

I love consolidation... You just have to trade it different than trending markets. It is easier to trade than trends and if the market gets range bound for extended periods then you can make many low risk trades before having to move on.
