Sorry for lack of updates.. Been busy. Also going to Lords tomorrow for the cricket so will probably have the day off friday.. Will post my watch list for next week on sunday...

Month of August to date..

Hey,

Again, sorry for the lack of updates... I decided to take the last 2 weeks of August off as I had a good month. I planned to start again this week but the brexit madness continues so I decided to sit on the sidelines this week. So i'm back to full time next week..

Admittedly i'm pretty fucked off with UK politics, which is a big driver behind a number of markets at the moments. It best to saty out when you get emotional about something.

Choppy day. Positions ranged, Was up on my oil short nicely at one point, but target not hit. Comments by Russia caused price to come back to my stop.

Kept to my plan, Kept to my risk management so happy to book a small profit today.

Not a good day. Kept my risk management in check but that was about it. Got out of bed at 9.30. Missed entries i had lined up on the dax. FOMO traded on DOW and generally did not stick to my plan.

Highlights the importance of risk management. 4 years ago i probably would of done 50% of my account on a day like this so will take a positive from that.

Must trade better tomorrow. No excuses.

Updated 07.04.2020

There was some interesting price action later on today as the dow was unable to to make a new high. So put in a low risk short and added to it as it broke trend on the 5 min chart. Nice turnaround for the day.

Poor! very poor. Was too biased that we would see a decline in the dow today... It went up all day!

Not particularly happy about losing £500 today, (6%) Lets see what tomorrow brings.

example trade was shorting the dax on a break of yesterday lows + plenty of negative sentiment out there.

Also note that we've broken the uptrend h4 for so plan tomorrow will be to look for more sells if this pull back.

Keep switch between long and short on the dow. I can't make my mind up. Experience has thought me that days like this can really cause problems. So i'm quiting now. If i miss a big move, so be it.
