Understand the timing issue but I have found ES scalping to be more reliable. FTSE and DOW for that matter often run straight through levels due to something happening in 1 of the stocks 1 in 100, or 1 in 30 so it feels more tempered/averaged in the ES over 500 stocks. Could just be my impression...
