EliteTrader VS Trade2win

Welcome to share your comment! I have been around in both places and here is my thought:

EliteTrader has much higher % of professional level but Trade2win has more people. The topics in Trade2win mainly are not serious and people just hang around.
 
Elite has the better content, but its a testosterone rich environment with the inevitable consequences

t2w has the edge for quantity, and quality of lulz
 
I do find T2W's atmosphere more relaxed, and that's to my liking. Not to say we don't have our share of quality posters either.

I find it's hard to feel like you're making a contribution on ET. There's too many people on there and too much posturing. Gotta admit, better content too, but I could do without the massive egos.

And that's why I like T2W more. The people are more chill. :)
 
The adverts on T2W are an intrusive nuisance, by slowing loading of pages (n)

On the other hand ET has way too many prima donna drama queens.
 
They are both similar. 95%+ bunk from losing traders. Many delusionals and keyboard warriors. Smattering of people selling picks and shovels. A few nuggets thrown in but no short cuts.

I think it is a natural human behavior to talk posturing if they consider they are good, of course they may be not really good.

T2W website design is better.:)
 
It is good that there are two main forums instead of one so they always have competition and make things better:)

ET : futures , equities and options traders , T2W : spreadbetting , CFDs and FX , Forexfactory : Forex .

Do you mean that both forums have experienced a slowdown in activity?

If that's is the case, the T2W team probably has some theories for why the traffic is slowing - would T2W be able to share their thoughts on this?
 
Elite is too US orientated. The only thread worth looking at is the jokes section. Barron got heavy handed banning people he disagreed with.
T2W has much more content and interest imho. Much nicer tone too. Less antagonistic. PLUS a money prize competition !!
