ECN Broker - MT4

It did not work well plus you have to pay commission to both FTT and Dukascopy.

If you want MT4 don't use the bridge to Dukascopy.

JFOREX is the platform on Dukascopy, I found the platform good a bit like MT4 with EA type programs but trying to follow P&L with commissions on each trade was confusing.

Suppose I'm used to MT4

can you trade microlots on Dukas?

JDTRADER do you have a live acount with them?
how is your experience with Dukascopy?
and what is the smallest lot size?
I thought 1000 units where micros,
is it different at Dukas?
thanks

Anyone know the starting date for the new MT4 deal offered at MB Trading?

it says in october on their website,
anyone know how they are actually going to make their money with this?
what they basically say is they are going to let you trade free without commision:-0
or even pay you to trade with their payback for limit orders?????
seems to me they have a hard time to get customers?
looks like only new acounts will be getting the free trade plan,
and only with MT4

No

Unless you got 10-20k don't even think of Dukascopy as the cost to enter exit trades will just eat you account.

There is no free trade plan with MB Trading. If you enter or exit with market orders, you'll be paying $2.95 commission per $100K. If you use limit orders, you'll get paid $1.95.

hmm? did you have a look on their webpage lately?

Yep. Always check the small print.

"MBT offers two forex pricing models. In the Free ECN model, MB Trading makes money on each forex trade from a small markup embedded in the spread, which is a portion of the difference between the bid price and ask price for commission free trading.

In the Pay for Limits model, the term "Payment for Limit Order" refers to a non-market order which is not immediately executable and rests on the internal limit order book for some period of time, thus adding liquidity when another order of equal or greater value fills with the resting order."

I guess I must have displaced my magnifying glass:)
thats allmost false marketing, or IT IS! calling it free when it's not free at all, sneeky MBT!

hi chrisbliss!

havent heard of your live acct. with divisa for some time

is it still kicking?

you know my doubts.........

Hi Als! yes I still have it, but I haven't been trading there for a while,
I had a big loss on my acount, I lost about all I had on Divisa which was the minimum deposit,
I overtraded the acount so it's my own fault, not theirs. trading and alcohol is NOT a good combination, LOL, Im trading my other acounts now until I get back on track, still got money in them so far, heh:)

i hoped to get some info from you about divisa

what are other brokers you are trading with?

has anyone got experience with LMAX? I have just opened an live account to check their spreads. Not traded yet. they look good on paper, well web, I mean. $2.5 per 100k ($5 per round trip), raw spreads (around 0.5 on average), even inverted bid/ask. They currently offer API trading and MT4 soon.

Any comments or experience please?

Im also interested in them,
I tell you what I found out so far,
they apear to be located in United Kingdom,
atleast that is their adress.
they have their own thread over at FF,
you can read a lot about them there,
I haven't any direct trading experience with them personally,
but to my understanding they are a commision based ECN broker,
the guys in FF seems to be very happy with them from what I can tell,
I also think they do not allow hedging but not 100% sure on that,
their standard trading application pretty much sux,
it is apparantly some poor java web program,
but note, the broker can still be great,
you can get a very good professional platform ( MultiCharts )
but it cost you 60usd month which is a bit much I think,
you can not trade microlots, minilots are the smallest.
the smallest deposit is 5000 us dollars,
they are regulated by FSA number 06505809
there is one strange notice in the FSA register,
(Able to hold and control client money)
I don't really know exactly what that means but it could mean that
the acounts is not segregated? and they are able to keep it?
hmm  that could be a little bit troublesome!? :/
thats pretty much is all I know about them,
if you find out more maybe you can post it here.
if you really have a live acount with them you are perfect for the job.
