It's a classic text which you will see quoted often on this site as a recommended read.

I think that the most important point in the book is the consideration of the three M's:
- Mind
- Method
- Money Management

I suspect that most people, when starting out, are primarily looking at the second one only - Method, focussing on the Technical analysis.

If the book can get you to focus on the other two, then it has done its job.

Si vous etes francais j'ecris en francais. Malheureusement je ne propose rien parceque j'ai fait un faut. J'ai pense que vous avez voulu discuter le livre plutot que la bonde (english = plug !), donc l'image. Je n'utilise pas le logiciel Metastock, donc je n'ai pas aucune idee, mais j'espere quelqun peut repondre a votre question.

Sorry - Mods, hope you don't mind me practicing my french for a couple of sentences ! I won' t make a habit of it !

Anyone used Roy Kellys indicators?

Very expensive for modifications of existing free indicators. Kelly and Walter Bressert used to work together, but the word is they split and Kelly "stole" some of Bressert's stuff. The are copies of Bresserts stuff on the MS site.

Dr. Elder's plug-in

Has anybody use Dr. Elder's Trading Room? And if yes what do u think about it?

Hi 78patron,

On the Equis website you are offered a 30 days trial; you might as well take it.
However in the various MS user groups that I have visited, some of Dr. Elder strategies are already posted , ie., the different indicators/explorations are there already written for you.
I suggest that you visit them, try them, if necessary take on the 30 days trial for the plugg-in, and decide on that basis.
For some reason I haven't found anything about that plug-in, either good or bad! Makes you wonder if anybody is actually buying it!

Elder Indicators and Ig Index

Is it possible to set up the charts in IG index in the Elder way?

I've got half way there but the envelopes and the impulse system I don't know how to do on ig index?
