I think rather than just accepting the negative answers you are getting here it would be a much better lesson for you to have a look at the types of moving average systems and find out for yourself WHY they dont work (by that i mean are not long term profitable). There are lots of variations. There are simple 2 MA crossover systems, 3 MA systems (2 MA Crossover + a trend MA as a filter), 4 MA systems (2 pairs of MA cross, Long period MA cross for the trend and Short term MA cross for entry). In fact there is an example of the 4 ma system on these boards somewhere. Its called the Black Dog system. It is commercial now but if you hunt on the web you will find the original free version on another forum.
One more thing. If you have MT4 and are thinking of using MA cross arrows (black dog uses these and so do lots of other systems) keep in mind that they ALL repaint. When an MT4 indicator is applied to a chart it can be programmed to see bars in the future. Obviously it cant do this in real time as bars are generated which is why historically they look great but if you watch you will see arrows appear then vanish.
