DAX and DOW thread

From 10550s to 10180s to now 10500s

Wild swings indeed - the big players are in war with each other by the looks of it.

10580s is monthly open so an area am expecting her to close around end of play today.
 
DAX Rejected 10550 before closing the week @ 10500s on Friday.

Hesitated taking a short at supply zone @ 10560 which would have yield 100pips today.
Its now slightly challenging to determine the longer term direction as we have seen whipsaws last week.

My initial bias is bearish (sell the resistant, buy the support, as we are clearly ranging between 10200 and 10700)

I was waiting for a slightly higher area to short from @ 10680s area....it peaked @ 10640s today.

Got a small supply zone @ 10559 with stop loss @ 10576. Will enter this trade tomorrow @ 7am GMT with targets 10250s.
 
Above trade wasn't taken as it was already trading around 10600 @ 7am.

NFP setup for me will be Selling @ 10645 with 30pips stop loss.

Please trade responsibly as NFP is a very high impact news that can cause slippage.

Now trading @ 10530s so above trade wont be in play any further but personally will see how it reacts from 10542 with 16pip SL (this is observational trade) placed 10minutes before data
 
Failing to see these demand zones being heavily respected; Started the threat @ 9920 and now trading at 10600s

May be late to change bias but will be observing 10645 with targets 10800s

Going to closely monitor this now....will go long @ 10645 with 25pip SL...targeting 10800.

All depends on tomorrow's German open @ 7am GMT.

Trading above @ 10645 overnight would be a good sight.

Not sure what happen there but it spiked down to 10590 before trading back @ 10680.

Entry was long @ 10645.

DAX Peaking @ 10745.

Long as it don't test 10800 today...I will look at another long attempt tomorrow...let the ECB dust settle.
 
Upside targets still remain at 10800.

Had a long order @ 10666 but Friday, went lowest @ 10670 before finishing the week @ 10725.

During/after US election.....I am expecting DAX to test 10850 before falling. short stop loss from there should remain tight IMO as it also has the potentials to continue higher if we dont get a quick drop from there.
 
Now trading around 10800 marker, peaking at 10825s so far - Upside targets met from 10645 albeit taking me out during ECB conference.

Latter entry didn't trigger @ 10666 by few pips.

Will observe and see how today closes.....
