Test - Inserting a chart

Just trying to attach my first chart

I have just tried inserting a chart. Which worked after I had resized below 1000 x 1000. It was a gif file and the quality was poor.

I have seen some very clear charts on this board. What is the best format for charts to be inserted into a post.

Any comments would be most welcome.

Hiya IBeam.

The best and easiest thing to do is to make the charting picture smaller before you capture it (e.g. restore the window to normal size instead of maximized). I make sure the Chart only fills up half the screen, then when you take a screen print of it, the charting package has reduced the image perfectly for you.
