Fri 21 Mar 2025 - the way of US30
Currently, exhibiting predictable price action.
High or low price action about London open can find reversal or continuation about US open.
While a self evident statement the implication is price action reversals, consolidations and general waffle between London and US open (unless close to US open) can often* be ignored.
* Keeping in mind: Trading rules always work - except when they don't.

There is is merit in historical chart review - random selection, no preview.

US30: Price Action - Historical Review - Hypothetical Analysis - Possibilities and Failures. Go Figure.
  • Time: London (US Open = 14:30 London)
  • CV: Currency (deposit) Value according to Lot / Contract value. Prefixed '-' implies a short calculation as opposed to '+' long calculation.
  • PD: Price Difference,
  • TD: Time Difference,
  • Red Vertical Line: Cut off time for non overnight trades.

Extract from a recent post -
Personally, ive never been into trendlines. they all look great, because they all look perfect at the time. also they're very subjective meaning its not so easy when deriving a strategy with a set of rules to guide you.
We all have an opinion
  • The truth about whether trendlines, indicators, price action, or even throwing the bones work or don't is more complicated than ......
  • The complexity can be summed up as: They always work—except when they don't !
  • However, unlike shop hours, it's not an open or shut case
Following the above, Bulkowski (ThePatternSite), has conducted extensive research on chart patterns incorporate trendlines.
Logic, prudence, and diligence argue in favor of Bulkowski's comprehensive research rather than Penelope's opinion.
