Just taking solely the numbers into consideration looks impressive as a large move, however it is good also to consider percentage moves as they provide real and possibly less emotional perspective.
In the past DOW and other indices have seen a huge moves, including daily moves surpassing 5% triggering 15 min temporary suspensions, so we are not there yet, but???
