I don't think it is as simple as that. You trade a method that works for you, whether intra-day, daily or long-term. I'm sure if many who trade intra-day/daily could make the same return on ten trades per month, they would. But I bet the majority of long-term traders are still in front of their screens every day, the same as the intra-day guys.
Lucky for those who aren't.
