Bug Fix for MetaTrader 4, build 222

Dear Clients,

On Sunday 22nd March we introduced the latest version of MetaTrader 4, build 222.

Problematic connectivity
We have received reports of a small proportion of clients having connectivity issues with build 222. In line with our contingency plans designed to maintain excellent access for all clients we have immediately conducted internal testing on Monday 23rd March to ascertain the exact nature of the problem. Those clients using build 222 and are having no problems should continue to do so unless you encounter any problems.

Bug fix available later today

We have isolated the issue, reported it to MetaQuotes and are continuously working on resolving this problem as soon as possible. This morning MetaQuotes have been quick to respond by confirming the existence of a bug within build 222. They have promptly announced that a bug fix is forthcoming by the end of today.

Problem workaround
In the very short term, until this issue can be resolved, we recommend that any clients attempting to trade via build 222 but are having connectivity problems should download an earlier, more stable version, build 221. Build 221 can be downloaded here.

To verify the version you are using please click on Help >About within your MetaTrader 4 platform.

Reconfigure your IP settings
