EU hit a low of 13067 at 13:35, short EU when price hits 13097, if 13097 was the top, then exit just before 13085, taking into account spread this will net 10 pips....

Adapt it for yourself by exiting at 50% on a lower stake depending on what kind of day it is...

Hrm, what you ultimately did was short major resistance @ 1.3099 on the 4th or perhaps 5th visit (now worth +10 6 times at the time of writing) in the past two days, which is an admittedly excellent trade for +10 in a ranging Euro.

Fading 30 pips and all the rest of it is subject to change as the years go by non? Not sure why you need all the other stuff.

You realise you're going long into extremely heavy daily resistance, fourth visit or not? You need to make sure the context is right before applying the system blindly. It may break through today, but I wouldn't take any more longs above 1.31 if I were you.

you realise you're going long into extremely heavy daily resistance, fourth visit or not? You need to make sure the context is right before applying the system blindly. It may break through today, but i wouldn't take any more longs above 1.31 if i were you.

It was a looser, -45 pips. Put the trade in shortly after waking up and forgot what my strat was and reverted back to the old casino joe ways. My strat, though not boxy, isn't incompatible with a general box concept. So broke (forgot) my own rules and paid a penalty.

I have now gone long in the direction of my strat. But I am chasing the market. However, a break out of the resistance seems likely. So I am in until the US close. I think the yanks will push it up rest of the way.

You see the result of trend following scalping , it works well when all moving averages , support and resistance is applied correctly.

This week would have ended great except for some mistakes , otherwise looking for a 100 pips a week.I left early for longer trend trades.

I am still long trading other systems with staff.This was the trade I was waiting for for last two days.

When it went past 97 , resistance became support , so I went long and you do not need wide stops , maybe 12 pips max.

I am still long but no more calls.

Unfortunately, if the system or method doesn't adapt to market conditions, it can get you killed, and following it blindly may be admirable in one sense but akin to bashing your head against a wall in another. If the market doesn't have a trend, there's no point trying to follow what's not there.

The system works and is kosher , you get drawdown periods .There is a trend .

There was nothing wrong with that trade. It was an 80% move as you know. Only thing wrong with it was no confirmation @ 1.312 and 4th recent visit.
