How did you do that? It's illegal in the US, I believe.
Anyway, most spread betting companies are the same, will bleed you given half a chance.
Try IG Index - IG Index | Spread Betting | Financial Spread Betting
Hope this helps.

Depends what you trade as to where the best is. IG have double figures as high as 16+ for oil, for example whereas most have a fixed 6 pip spread.

Horses for courses but Capital Spreads is OK for me. But, I get a variable 1 - 4 pips with FXpro. usually just 2 pips and I'm not slipped on opens and closes, either. Of course FXPro is not spread bet...

FXPRO registered @ Cyprus only ...

IGINDEX Nymex oil spread ( 5 pips + market spread ) on average this is 7-8 pips

Been reading the IG website?

Their spread is currently 10 pips on oil as I write. Now it's changed to 11 pips, and this is a quiet time. I trade oil every day and their spread is very rarely single figures.

Why assume any company registered is Cyprus is suspect? Have you used them? These kind of glib remarks are rife among traders who just repeat what they've heard or read without any personal experience.

Ooh, IGs spread is now 12 pips...

Daily Brent Crude at IG is now 6 pips.
personally I wouldn't expect the Cyprus regulators to be particularly demanding; it's not exactly known as an international financial centre. Obviously the lower regulatory standard may mean they can offer better headline rates, but I'd rather not take the risk. I know UK regulation is generally pretty good, while I know nothing about Cyprus.

Not talking about Brent - I'm talking US Crude, which as the world's most traded commodity is where the volume is and where I make my money.

I think Brent actually trades more than Light.
Personally i trade light as i think the technicals more reliable

Calm down i didnt say anything bad about FXPRO i want to inform readers where it is regulated ...

I dont have to read IG site cuz i have account with them readers can c the spread on oil at the attached picture , and i was talking about Daily US light crude for intraday trading , the good thing at IG that they offer garaunteed stops if u want but for extra spread ofcourse , GSL is important for the weekend positions on oil . Non garaunteed stops cost me alot at Capitalspreads as i left a short position on oil overnight and oil is not traded 24 h at CS and they dont offer GSL ...
