Hi guys,
Just started out in spreadbetting, have been spending the last couple of weeks tracking markets and testing the waters with a demo account.
A few questions:
1. What are your recommendations as far as market/info sources go? I have been using Reuters (no subscription), Bloomberg's website and Yahoo Finance. Would you recommend any other providers? Do you think it's necessary to sign up for a premium service to keep up to date?
2. Is there a website which provides a comprehensive calendar of all important upcoming events/date to be released (i.e major company reports, government data/stats reports, Central Bank press conferences)?
3. Does anybody know the best spreadbetting service in terms of access to emerging markets indices? I have looked around and the best I have seen so far are IG and SpreadEx, but any other opinions would be welcome.
Cheers in advance
