Alright, so first of all, really sorry if what I'm going to ask has already been answered to. I browsed through the forum and found partial answers, so I decided it would be easier to do one thread. But again sorry if ever there is a repetition.
I am a student in Masters in the UK, and would like to start trading.
Basically it would only be stocks (at first, to get the hand of it), and UK/Euro (the ones I know better). The pool of cash I would put in is not much, around £2,000 (it's especially to get my hands in the mud). Concerning the risk I'm willing to take, it's pretty acceptable. I wouldn't mind that much getting down to 1,000 or so.
From what I've looked on the Internet, I didn't really find the perfect interface for me, either they require a way too large amount of money or they charge way too much for a trade. Plus I'm not really sure how it works with legal issues (I live in the UK). An android app would be a plus, but not compulsory.
And here we come to my last inquiry. For a while I've been thinking of an algorithm. Nothing really complex nor revolutionary, but well, it may help me with coding and the different options of the interface.
So in the perfect world, I would use an Interface which allows me to code in VBA (let's say, but I can learn another language fast), then the program do the maths and then tell the broker to buy or sell, automatically. Is that feasible without being a pro trader with millions at disposal?
