You are getting carried away here Pat. Rich colours maybe but that scene is made up to attract the eye with all those reds.
Not natural as one does not find such vibrant colours in a forest bed.

Doesn't have to be conventional paintings – though for me the great masters never fail to impress.
There's also a lot of interest in poster art and this has always been exploited commercially and by wartime government. Posters were very much in vogue in the 1st half of the 20th century and desirable originals now fetch silly prices.
The "woman doing vital work" poster reminds me of the apocryphal story concerning a shortage of RAF uniforms during the Second World War. Apparently, the Ministry of Supplying RAF Uniforms put out the following statement: "Due to the shortage of men's trousers, WAAF skirts will be held up until the needs of airmen have been satisfied". One way of keeping up morale I suppose!

My one was around 1978. Did it in about 2 hours at evening classes.
