The trend Of the S&P should dictate the course of the European markets and thus the period of greater volatility in the US should quickly spread to Europe, giving rise to a pattern similar to that of Wall Street.

And yet the ftse is resolutely flat after the s&p rallies 45 points. 😕

I dont imagine there is any real back and forth trading in the US anymore, just a bunch of computer programmes trying to get to specified targets as quickly as possible.

dow is a joke. it got to a point where there's no credibility in the price.....
