ads57 the FTSE i think reacts to the movement of the sp500 futures.
I agree. I think the S&P 500 index is the most actively traded stock index contract in the world.

FTSE long at 5829, tight stop at 35. Made a few profits recently on short side but always felt I was fighting the market.
Reasoning, there appears to be some support around about 5825.
