Only problem slight risk of a bidder definitely confirming a withdrawal and the sp dropping back 30% to pre bid price you have to bear that in mind...It's a different sector, and very different market conditions.
BUT. Supermarkets won't get shut down in '3rd Wave' lockdown, although impacted by significant Covid costs.
Also, there's rampant inflation and massive unemployment in the pipeline.
Food is a basic, but low margins on staples.
It's still well under pre-pandemic price, though, so still a bargain, on a longer view.
So, if you buy now, be prepared to hold.
