Even though Japan pays the same price for oil, copper, gold, and all the other commodities which have gone through the roof, they have managed to make the figures for inflation (sorry DeFlation) go down!
Now even if you think thats a currency exchange thing and so prices in Yen ARE cheaper, then the dollar goes the opposite way and so prices would be higher. But apparently both scenarios are good for the Nikkei and the Dow.
I would ask which government is lying about inflation but I already know the answer ... both!
