Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

I think we have to assume the s&p is going straight back to 2800+ as quickly as possible so just buy the dips and hold until it gets there.
No trading to be done.

:)

The FA Cup has already been very profitable for Dale this season, with a figure of around £184,500 coming our way from prize money for the first three rounds as well as income from the televised game at Slough. But it was given a huge boost following the Millwall win. We will receive a cheque from the FA for £90,000 for being fourth round winners.

Not only that, with the game against Spurs or Newport being televised by the BBC on the Sunday afternoon, we will receive £247,500 from the FA, with no doubt record gate receipts to follow as well from the expected sell out crowd.

Even ignoring gate receipts, this means that the FA Cup this year has brought us £522,000 in total so far.

Looks like Wembley now !

The US market was trading higher, with indexes trying to reach a series of 5 consecutive days in positive territory. Attentions have been focused on macroeconomic indicators. Yesterday the data on inflation were announced and today the number of weekly applications for unemployment benefit has been published, which increased from 7,000 of the lows of the last 45 years to 230,000. In the business field, Cisco Systems was advancing more than 3% after having reported results higher than the estimates. For the first time in more than two years, the company has seen an annual increase in revenues.
