Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

If my maths is right.

On 9/30/2016 the dow was 18,308.15 with a market cap of $5,476,682.61 million
http://siblisresearch.com/data/dow-jones-market-cap/

So with a value of 22,000 the market cap is $6,581,112 million (6.5 trillion dollars).
(Thats $300,000,000 per point)

To move the dow 500 points in 8 trading days has added $150,000,000,000 ($150 Billion dollars).

Is it me?

This is how Bloomberg are reporting stories...

U.S. Stocks, Dollar Retreat as Apple Bolsters Dow: Markets Wrap

The S&P 500 Index slumped as energy shares retreated anew, while Apple’s 5 percent gain briefly took the Dow Jones Industrial Average past 22,000 for the first time.

Last time I checked Apple was in the S&P not the dow!

Maybe someone should tell Bloomberg.

Dow/Nasdaq I'm afraid, postie.

That was quite a statement there from the bulls! (and the bears, lol) Kind of feels like last-chance-saloon to go down tomorrow, otherwise it's really off to the races!
We'll see. Still flat and bored here....

There has been nearly $1B of buying on the close every night this week on the s&p and its creeping higher every day.

Ftse held the line @7400 with a bit of conviction today...thinking a possible up day tomorrow but you never know.
Currently flat. want to see what twinges we have pre- market and on the open.

Dax lolling around on the floor like its been 8 rounds with Conor McGregor, can it get to its feet?
