Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

When the markets are down and CNBC are telling you major increases in the S&P end of year forecast, you know there's something wrong!

Exactly! The charts do show this - so many longs in, tired buying, then sudden surges to bring in new positions, but at the same time holding all bulls in the market, now "supporting" news releases start to hit the media:whistling

All the hallmarks of the final stages of a bull cycle, but got to trade light until the pressure point hits, as when the volumes are this light, it is too easy for those with motives to hold it up.

Reminds me of oil, and housing, same pricing structure, same consolidations, same media intervention.

European markets ended on a downward trajectory, due to the continued appreciation of the Euro and some business results that disappointed the market. The Euro appreciated about 0.20% against the Dollar, a day after Mario Draghi alluded to expectations regarding inflation and the potential end of the asset program. In fact, Mario Draghi pointed to the existence of plans to begin the discussion regarding the gradual reduction of the program of quantitative easing already next autumn. In terms of business, the car sector was among the worst performers, given some published results. On a counter-cycle was Vodafone which advanced 0.85%. The British operator reported quarterly revenues of € 10300 M. (2.20% over the same quarter of 2016), which exceeded analysts’ estimates.

Final Stage? This thing is going to run until fall 2018, unless the tax policy doesn't go through. My hunch is that they won't do a 15% tax right away, it will be 25% flat tax as an introductory bill then the 15% in 4 or 5 years. Of course the dems could sweep the senate and congress and everything goes to 5hit but it sure as hell looks like Georgia proved that 'Russian FSB hacks' can't help.
