I posted impulsively. I was referring to the FTSE drop from 5339.3 to 5322.0 between 12:44-12:46. Because my chart was zoomed right in, it looked dramatic when I glanced over. 😛.

The technicals on Dow/sp500 are very very bearish, US may get some confidence from the European markets and UK

they need some false rumour to run the market into buy stops. the recent false rumours had little long term effect.

FTSE today seems to be driven by weak dollar, miners up strong RDSA strong , but BP lagging. BARC was up 5% at one point. Also the RBS share consolidation should reduce overall volumes for the LSE

FTSE100 had a head shoulder target of 5100ish, it got to 5186 out of cash hours. wonder if that can be taken to say head shoulders has now been played out, would 5100 have to occur during markit hours?
