You cannot have it both ways, people complained that the thread had so many off topic posts that they were not wanting to post and then when the posts were removed complained that they were removed.
If there had been no reported posts then none of this would have happened and if you then decide to try and ridicule Mods for acting based on forum rules initiated by reporting posts to start with then expect the consequences of doing so.

It would be statistically impossible for the stoxx 50 to close at the lows from yesterday.....which lead me to believe the dow would sky rocket hence why I kept the position open.
Stoxx 50 is an essential tool for me...would be blind without it

Assume you are very low £wonga per point & very wide stop with this system
Depends on your risk threshold/account size. Small stakes etc otherwise margin call
However there always is a point where your trade is wrong and you have to call it a day and move on.
In this case Joseph had a rationale to stay in the trade.... Not sure exactly what it was with Stoxx 50 etc... But if it works for him good luck

If you look at those dates where there have been over half percent moves you will notice within the next 72 hours if you go long or short on the dax you'll be in the money almost 90% of the time. The frequency of these dates are numerous but law of compound would be on your side if bet small and increase with each gain. The exception as far as I can tell was on 10/18...it was stupid of me to be surprised at how low the dax went yesterday. Pretty funny how an anomaly on the 18th caused such a sell of on the 26th....it's all connected my friends!
