Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

he value of crude oil was undoubtedly the main catalyst of Wall Street’s rise on Friday. Oil posted the largest daily increase since August of last year valuing up 9%.

gaps a bit wider than would like at 59 points (low print to target) so a fade may be on of about 20 points

A nice low print at the end of the day just what the doc ordered

Its going the way you planned. (y) 60 points off at the moment.
A big reach down to 5773 but oil is plummeting!

Gold is also near my 1120 "I'll re think recession" levels.

... would prefer to see 5810 today then early drop tomorrow 5773 and take out 5973 thursday

Mr Market quickly tells people which kind of trader they are.

Hi postman

Hello DC.

I have the S&P closing at 1858 this week in the competition, given your view on the markets I'm worried now. :(
oil is trying to find a base here at $29, if it goes up so will the markets.

My one saving grace is China and the Asian market drop overnight.

Shanghai down 6.5%, Nikkei down over 2%.

Euro markets doing there best to get positive before US opens.
Theres a lot of funny 'stuff' going on out there today.

When the ftse goes down 100 and then retraces 60 and you look at the clock and its not even 10.30 then you know somethings not right in the world.

You might as well forget the indices and just trade oil, because they're all just following its twists and turns.

And there it is, S&P flat. Did it really go down and up 15 handles while the yanks were asleep shhhh they will never know.

I dont follow the ftse that much but it just retraced to the 3am high it made overnight, thats the kind of stuff the US algo's do. I think they've migrated across the pond.
Maybe were going to see a lot more life in the ftse in the future.

Someone put a rocket up FTSE's ****.
Did your hedge fund start buying? :)

 I wouldnt rule anything out

My thoughts on the FTSE trade
I dont want to see a 5930+ print today, at 5942 this would cause a recalc
the obvious exit is 5876 and if it comes before the US open then some money off the table would be prudent
then look to re enter 5828 into close of session
