Interesting... US equity markets (mostly) reach new highs and then there is a total vol dry-up... yesterday and today posting some of the smallest daily ranges this year... mmm...

FTSE spends its whole day underwater and pops its head up at the close.
Dax to finish up.
So money to be made going long on Dow expect it to close up +1 on the day.

Honestly if it hadn't been for the jokes and chat on here, i would have closed the DOW position just to get out of the house, it sounds naff to have pulled 7 point on it but last night it was quite an achievement.

Dow is going for round 2 of bore the punters into submission......

I don't trade the Dax but it is a market that interests me. Looks like a nice range is forming here between 9750 - 9790, anyone scalping this?

Looks like this held up well. Perhaps we will see it range-bound before some data forces a breakout? Either way this thread is some entertainment whilst at work
