i think mostly long today (though just got nice short on open ) would love to see a pullback to 5244 area before buying though.. but a break of previous high at 5327 would get me interested as above here target looks like 5406 which is the top of the medium term downwards channel we are now in.

I should also point out that I do keep an eye on fib levels.. I dont put them on this list.. what is nice is when the fibs line up with these levels

DJ - Many thanks for posting the levels. Are you finding much difference between the 24 hr and Day value areas? Is one showing more benefit than the other?
Price action has been very indecisive since the opening candle. It's acting like a range day. It may trade sideways until the Italian Bond results at about 10:10am. I am just scalping small 3 to 5 point targets as we can't get a decent run going.

I find both can work.. undecided as to which is best yet.. the 5266 level worked well just now...
I also went short just under 5308 using it as a stop line

I should point out that short was first thing this morning!!!!
What makes you decide whether it is a good price or not? You have to hava a view of likely market direction.
This morning I bought FT at 5297.3 at 0910- The timing proved to be good but that price had been available for 20 minutes beforehand. Maybe, you think that 20 minutes doesn't matter but, if I thought that the price was going up, it gave me no inkling at 0850. All I had was a hunch and we all know that markets don't turn that easily. It could have taken all morning.
So, I need more than a good price to get me in. It's got to tell me that I am, probably, right as well.

we may have filled the gap but I sense now there are a few bears "top fishing"
Classic double bottom on the 1min chart this morning 10 minutes either side of 9am. The second low at 9.06 went just below the first low to take out stops before the candle reversed. Accompanied by bullish divergence on MACD. I didn't actually go long until 9.15 when price broke through 37SMA and pulled back slightly. I really like that setup.
