I think most members of this forum are traders who consider their own skills at selecting their investments superior to self-professed and overpaid "experts". Woody Allen defined stockbrokers as "someone who will look after your money until its all gone".
Having said that, Killik & Co, Berkeley Equities, just a couple of names I recognise pulled randomly from a Google on London Stockbrokers. Most require fairly high minimum accounts for their managed services (£100k perhaps). No endorsements intended.
Thanks. Yes I used to trade myself and didn't do to badly. However you really need allot of time to keep track of the markets and generally need to be at your screen all day to do well. Right now with my projects I just don't have time. I did do a Google search also but I need a broker based here in London that predominantly specializes in the American markets? It seems allot of these names seem to do predominantly work on the the FTSE ?
