I'm looking for a spread betting company which would suit EOD share trading where I can place orders, move stop losses and exit a trade all out of hours. Are all these possible ?
Also, are there companies whose OHLC share prices are close to the underlying market price i.e. within a couple of pence or do they vary significantly ? I've written a program that uses downloaded EOD data to produce setups so it would be far easier for me to use this rather than have to study graphs produced by the spread betting company.
Finally, are there any companies you'd recommend which offer a demo account that would allow me to completely simulate my trading plan with the FTSE350. Two companies which seem to be reasonably recommended here, Capital Spreads & IGIndex, either have a cut down version of their real platform or no demo platform at all.
Any advice/suggestions welcomed.
