Advert free, trader focused, independent forum

So how many of you really would leave T2W to go to another forum.

The forum would be:

a) Advert free
b) Specifically aimed at experienced traders for serious trading conversations and lulz
c) Mods appointed to remove system sellers, those talking cr@p, anything illegal
d) Pretty low budget but essentially a place to hang out

It would be hosted, maintained and mod'ed on a volunteer only basis - it has no commercial bias.

No end date and poll anonymous so that people can't bitch at each other.

I wouldn't necessarily LEAVE t2w for another forum. You can use both and get what you need from each.

I posted the below in the other thread, but think it could achieve the same goal as suggested by robster

"What about a section on T2W that is only accessible once you've been a member of the site for a certain amount of time? Say a year or more plus a certain amount of posts. That way if you get banned it's harder to get back in to it, and those threads would only be accessible to the longer serving members. Which would hopefully, then raise the quality in that section of the site."

I'd vote "No Thanks" but that's because I think 'advertiser free' is a tad naive.

Do you expect T2W to do this for free? Does the local butchers give away free sausages?

Are we traders or what? I don't trade for free...

An idiot free zone would be nice.

I don't think T2W would do it but wiping a machine, loading it with centos, installing mysql, apache, phpbb, doing a bit of configuring, hardening, putting it behind a firewall with a static route on a public address is an afternoons work including reading a paper and several cups of tea whilst stuff unpacks/downloads/etc
