Clue is in the name Spread BET, they are just bookies really. Price may be derived from market price, but does not have to match it.

Speechless! (the prop firm conversion is complete).

[HOWTOINVEST] Your approach as a Darwinex Investor

Agreed, but: The risk manager does not take account of any stop-loss that is placed. That is a big weakness, and probably why it assumes holding a position for a greater period of time is more risky.

Why I turned away from Darwinex

Wow!, that's a bad experience you've had. My own reasons for abandoning them (which I think started around the time they closed the original forum) is that they seemed to have moved away from their founding ethos (practically reversed it) and copied everybody else on the darker side...

    FTMO vs Darwinex

I thought FX contracts were standardised at 100,000 units of currency. I couldn't bring myself to put real money with FTMO. It just seems dodgy using "pretend" accounts. Darwinex may not be the cheapest, but I never lost any sleep over lodging funds with them in the tens of thousands.

    Paying taxes for trading

Correct, an ISA also has the advantage that you do not need to worry about reporting any gains, interest or other income. However, don't take my word for it, do your own research to confirm.

    Paying taxes for trading

All gains in an ISA are free of CGT and income tax. The annual subscription limit of £20K is irrespective of any profit or loss within the account. Tax laws of course can and do change, but that's the situation as of now.

    Darwinia contest

No you have no risk with the allocation, as it is not real money, so Darwinex are not taking any risk. But you will win real money if you can keep the equity line moving up! Congrats on the allocation, needs a lot of patience and discipline to get there.
