The Dow(n)

I am more of a FX trader than an equities trader but we have hit levels that make me extremely interested in the equity markets now.

Last year I made a forecast on a sell off f=on the S&P from 2050.

I am not actually in yet and my stop loss area would have been too tight (marginally) but I have my eyes well set on it now.

I have about $50,000 I am willing to back my bets with on this.

I'd prefer not to lose it but am also willing to fire a fair few bullets at trying to catch what I believe may be one of our greatest trading opportunities of recent times.

This thread will track my analysis and trades on the indices.

(Perhaps many of them, we will start with just a few though)

S&P - Short&Profit

Technical analysis on S&P.

Under the red zone I consider this to be very weak and bias into the green zones.

A retest of the red zone I would consider to be a good selling opportunity with the first green zone as the target.

A strong close under the green zone and I would be potentially looking at this as another selling zone into the lower green line.

The dashed red lines are my minimum and maximum stop loss levels for a sell from the red zone.

Sang Seng

I am looking at the same red zone retest scenario, the only difference here the would be target 1 already hit and target 2 is the target on a sell off a retest.

This all happened faster than I expected.

I had meant to duplicate the content from this thread over to here but it all happened so fast.

Various indices filled the lowest supports I gave and are bouncing from them.

I am currently long Dow and S&P but will be shorting them some time next month I think.

Have been scalping the markets but really just a bit over break even in closed trade right now.

Floating about 4% up.

Looking for a move like this.

Ultimately looking for a move something like this.

I first referenced a somewhat similar move on Friday 21st.

Before "black monday".
