Random!

Yep, maybe this thread is a good place to dump small non-trading related topics of discussion, that don't really merit a thread of their own

Boris for Mayor of London - discuss

Yeltsin is past his prime!!

Now that Blair has time on his hands, what say we buy him a spade and send him to the Iraqi desert to find those oh-so-elusive WMD he believes exists.
Discuss.

I don't see why not. Just look at the morons who they have as mayor in other cities - Giuliani etc.
At least Boris would be a good laugh on a night out, and he's one hell of a rugball player!

I think he wants to make up for that blotch on his reputation, by bringing peace to the middle east!

Who's been the most irritating BB8 housemate?

Has to be Chanelle for me. Its the voice - oh my god!

At last - a thread that absolutely can't be blown off course because it has none.

Good work

Charlton

by making a post that includes another post, you are inferring a logical connection, thus transgressing your own suggestion.

That's heavy and deep. I had to get pen and paper out to work it out and the answer still doesn't match the reading on my calculator!

I saw the actress Tupele Dorgu, who plays Kelly Crabtree in Coronation Street, when shopping in Manchester on Sunday. Very fit, glamorous & stylish in the flesh, about 5ft 11.....:p
The last time i was shopping in Manchester, i saw David Beckham driving a big f**k off Bentley type thing away from his hotel, the day b4 England played a pre-world cup friendly at Old Trafford in June 2006.
And the time b4 that, when i was shopping in Manchester, i saw Tina O'Brien who plays Sarah Platt!

la diferencia entre miedo, terror y panico es

miedo: que te metan un paraguas por el culo
terror: que abran el paraguas
panico: que lo saquen

The only time I've been in Manchester for proper socialising, I saw Steve Coogan and a Corrie actor whose name I forget in a pub. That was West Didsbury though, the telly celebrity capital of the country. It's like Berks and Bucks where you can't move for news readers, Terry Wogan, Uri Geller and Dennis Waterman/Rula Lenska.

Talking of people with more money than taste, it's not just me is it - there's been an explosion in personalised number plates in the last few years. This morning was DE51 RAT, yesterday N.BOSHEL, then Tim Rice in his LYRICS Roller/Bentley, and I've seen a particularly tasteful one a couple of times: D8 RAP. It's a Volvo. Why would someone buy a Volvo and mark it 'date rape'?

Oh and the other week there was 64 MA. I wondered if it was a trader with a very, very simple system. It was an expensive motor though so he must be doing alright with it - is it anyone on here? :)
