Good day!
I've spent 8-20 hours a day studying and trading the FOREX market for almost a year now. Some days I'd get up before 5:00 am Pacific time, study and trade all day, and all night, go to bed, then be waking up several times a night checking trades.
So, I was pretty determined to learn how to trade. I've never paid for any training, as I was too busy losing all of my money trading, and I didn't want to waste any more money on a class taught by someone I didn't trust. If these mentors are so good at trading, why charge so much much money to help others? Why charge at all?
And as I learned more about the Forex market, I realized probably why people charge money for training. It's much easier to train others to do something, than actually do it yourself. I could tell you how to trade, after learning forex for 3 months. I knew how to trade, but I couldn't actually trade successfully.
The next 6 months were very frustrating to say the least, knowing what to do and not realizing why I couldn't actually do it.
There were a lot of things that held me back from success, but I will tell you the most important things I had to learn to become consistently profitable. Patience, discipline, and control over emotions. Once I focused on that, it allowed me to implement my knowledge of trading….
So, now that I feel as though I'm a successful trader, I want to share what I've learned over the past year. I thought of starting a business of training others, like so many before me and charging others for my knowledge. I decided not to charge people money for the following reasons:
1) I learned everything I needed to know for free on the internet, and through my own experience. There was much pain involved in this learning process. For others who are experiencing that pain, I don't want to add to that by charging you money to help you.
2) If I'm a successful trader, why would I need to charge people anything? If I can make enough money trading, no need to charge people money
3) I was so sick of all of the advertisements, scams, and dishonesty I encountered searching for any beneficial knowledge, that I want to help others to avoid that kind of pain, and benefit from what I've learned. Hopefully your journey can be less painful than mine was.
I've got lots more to say, but I'll spare you the details… for now.
Except, I will say that this will also benefit me, since it will help me to maintain my discipline with my trading when I am walking through my analysis in a video and sharing it with others. Otherwise, I'm at home by myself with no one to talk to and bounce ideas off of, so it's easy to just enter trade on a whim, and not apply the patience, discipline and control that is needed. So, I do get something out of this. In addition to the fact that I just can't shut up, when I feel that I've learned something of value, I have to share it with others…
Here's my first video I'm sharing on my trade on the EURJPY. In order to follow what I talk about in this video, you'll need to have a basic understanding of trading, moving averages, and price action.
