"Hello everyone, I've been considering to join the School of trade (SchoolOfTrade.com; Learn to Trade Futures, FOREX & Stocks with the James Wave System), it sounds like a good way to start my trading career. The price is $3299 for a lifetime membership. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks for sharing!"

re: schooloftrade.com & James Wave

JJ made a blunder once. I saw it, and I'm sure many others did too. It
happened some time in the mid of 2009. I joined the daily trading room
for a 2 weeks trial.

He'll always use the same 'screen' in his daily live trading room. The
one with 4 different future contracts yea? There was an instance he
accidently showed us his order entry screen, and it was on display for
all to see for about 5 mins.

He went about doing his daily routine, telling us about drawing trend
lines, support and resistance, and started to plot them on his charts.
That was when (I'm guessing) someone messaged him and told him that
he/she can't see the lines he is plotting. It was then that JJ
realised that his order screen was up on display. He quickly changed
it back to the chart screen.

What I saw on his trading DOM is this... "SIM"!!! Some of the
attendees then started asking him if he was trading live and he said
yes. I thought, well, maybe he's telling the truth. I left it as that.
When I saw your video, it brought back the memory of that day. THought
I'd share with you what I saw. I must say.... GOOD investigative work
you've done!

I learnt a lot through the 2 weeks free trial and applied some of
stuff in my trading strat. I do not follow his method wholesale, just
some aspects of it. I never believe in paying to learn from someone a
method. Those who can, do, those who can't, teach. I tried the trial
because it was free, and I picked up some useful stuff from it.

Anybody wanna share some thoughts on School of Trade?

You left out the "I have absolutely no interest whatsoever option".

Hi lx384(y), thank you for your comments and validating my findings. Would you mind if I share your comments with others? Some other forums like Elite Trader also have threads on schooloftrade.com which I would like to add this information to with your permission of course. Kind Regards Lloyd Hopkins.

Hi lx384, oddly enough I was just chatting with another buddy on that subject, ET deleted them all! ET deleted all my threads and posts. The only posts I ever made was regarding schooloftrade.com! I just added a new thread this morning here : http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=191817
Something fishy is going on, lets see how long this one lasts!.
Sure mate. :)

where's the tread on elite?

Re: School of trade

When considering a trade course,, 1. make sure you can return the material, 2 never pay more than 1500, 3 All your money is refunded --get that in writing. 4 make sure they give you a trading syllabus
5. Never NEVER , NEVER TRUST THEM MKT STAFF, Never give your credit card to them until you are satisfied with the conditions, They all say that they trade professionals. Best recommendation
get several inputs from folks that have taken the course.

I fthe above conditions are not acceptable , than move on to another provider. I got seriously scorched by Secret of Traders - AKA Larry Levin, need more details write to me . I want to bring the AG and SEC to them,,, they misrepresent their services.. WATCH OUT..

I noticed that you just joined here today and voted on my poll. Do you have some information regarding your profitable trading with James Wave you can share with us all?

Don't hold your breath for a reply....I AM a betting man...what are the odds that the IPs for those 2 are American and secondly they were sent under direction from Schoolof Trade vendor Joseph (Jessie) James to tilt the poll..?

When I have time I will bring you up to date with my experiences with this company

Needless to say, it is time that some regulatory body step in to cull these fantasy/phantom traders and failed trader/educators...there are too many people that are being hurt through, in some cases, desperate acts to survive....

Enough is enough.

Do any of you have a soft copy of the deleted threads? Any other forums discussing this topic?

I have a couple of pieces...for some reason I decided to print something that I had written, but it is the one that had not been deleted...the one LloydH is referring to was gaining some momentum with factually based info from a couple of sources including a person that spoke to the vendor and established that whole system was to scalp approx.4 /5 ticks ...stops larger than profit goal ...

I will get into the system more later ...and it is unadulterated garbage!!...it seems that to trade this system it is recommended you have 3 screens and there are approximately 15 time frames/ or indicators...all for a confirmation for a scalp!!!

The vendor demonstrates how successful he was, but that is only natural that he is successful, because he is SIM TRADING....

In summary for now, as I have stated elsewhere, but for the purposes of making it known on this thread, there is an insidious arrangement between platform vendors, fantasy trader vendors/'educators and discount brokerages to snag the unsuspecting individual that is trying to find a leg in the door to trading..

Platform vendors take fees

Fantasy system vendors and 'educators' offer systems that require the specific platform; as if no other exists...

Discount brokerages, who even recommend these charlatans to their clients, get commissions from client accounts by churning through supposed constant "scalp'' trades...

Their motto, 'You scratch my back..We scratch yours'

The only loser...the trader...

Enough is enough...

re: schooloftrade.com & James Wave

I wholeheartedly agree !! Most of these folks probably know each other on a first name basis. Ask yourself how many times you have been on a vendors mailing list and later recieved spam from other vendors.

Reminds me of an old saying about the only two lawyers in a town. Customers come and go but, we will always be here.

re: schooloftrade.com & James Wave

I was disappointed to see the thread about SOT started by Loyd on Elite Trade was completely censored. Unfortunately it doesn't surprise me as I have long suspected they pay people to post there to appease advertisers.

I think you, Lloyd, raised some valid question concerns which should be addressed by JJ. I think his POT indicator is ok. When I asked him for his settings for T/S he said I had to sign up for 3k. It's a stereotype sure, but usually fast talkers like JJ are well suspect at the least.

Oh btw, a brief thread hijack, stay away from Pure Tick. My buddy has been a member for 6 months and by the time Alex makes a call then hits the buzzer his winners are filled before members get in. Maybe some front running who knows. Of course they always get filled on the losers. I asked my friend why he still subscribes he can't explain. He just hopes to be able to anticipate them some day.

The only room I believe is honest is EOT, Bill Dennis actually shows his DOM and the signals are automatically generated on screen . BTW I am no affiliate of EOT. If a vendor won't show there DOM they are probably full of sh*t.
