I hear that some FCM's are also brokers, so as a scalper wouldn't it be better to go direct through an FCM. As this way you could further reduce commissions. As a broker has to send your order to the FCM and the FCM sends it to the exchange and this is done between broker and FCM with a commission. You could cut that commission out and get a better commission rate by going straight to the FCM. Also as the broker has to sent the order to the FCM it can cause a bit of lag, which is so small with today's technology but I hear can still add a few milliseconds which can be awful for the scalper, so wouldn't it be better to go directly through an FCM?
