President Federation Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) hailed the decision of the Government to decrease the petrol, diesel and kerosene prices, following a constant and considerable decline in crude prices in the international market, which the FPCCI was long demanding.
He further appreciated the decision of scrapping the policy of announcing the oil prices twice a month. He reiterated that the taxes and levies on oil should be affixed on per litre basis and should not be related to oil prices in the international market.
Following the cut in the prices of petroleum products, Mr. Tanvir A. Sheikh appealed to the business community to reduce the prices of consumer and household items of daily use, which were increased in the plea of increase in the petroleum prices.:clap:
