v8.1: historical data and data feeds - i'm a newbie

i will be getting my hands on 8.1 and OwnData 2.4 soon and am diving into this head first. i have just about everything to learn, so your patience is appreciated. i plan to develop systems for day and swing trading stocks and paper trade for now. i understand i will need historical data and realtime feeds. i'm on a tight budget, so i'm wondering what are some more inexpensive ways of getting this.

you could check out OpenTick.com they are the cheapest RT & historical data feed out there - free, except for exchange fee's.

if you're actually going to trade you may as well get the subsription version of TS8.1 rather than the cracked version - its free if you do more than 10RT a month. at least all the functions will then work and you wont have to mess around with external data feeds as its all built in and automatic.
