Using pivot points

I am new to using pivot points for s/r and targets - how do YOU use them ?

I've always gone by S/R that i identify on the charts however i keep seeing people use calculated pivot points in their trading.

I notice there are sites that display the daily pivot calculations - do you simply copy those and paste them onto your charts ? Do any charting pkgs have them built in ?

How do YOU use them in your trading ?

matt montieth on ytube shows good examples. search for stinkystox and watch a few [the ones on the last page uploaded don't have many pivot so probably start a few pages back.

he also uses rsi div. but other indicators also work.

ig index put them on as do metatrader with the right indicator.
