Hi everyone.
I know that the SEC imposes an account minimum of $25000 in order to day trade US equities. However, I have no interest to day trade US equities, and I wanna venture into Hong Kong or Canada instead, although I will be using a US based brokerage.
Does anybody know if Hong Kong and/or Canada have similar day trading account minimum?
Moreover, does any of you know firsthand whether or not the uptick rule exists in Canada? (I know that they have it in Hong Kong)
Thanks in advance
