So by no means do I claim that Ampyfin will make instant profit at all. No. If there is such a trading bot, I would quit what I'm doing. I'm just someone who's always had interest in building trading bots and some expertise in the ML field. So the occurrence came to me why not combine those 2 passions together. Thankfully, I had other peers who had similar interests and this is how Ampyfin was developed. It started in our dorm rooms with 2 traders and 2 other CS students.
The project was developed in a span of two and a half years where a lot of it was dedicated to training Ampyfin using data from Intrinio. It went live on late November but with recent update of v2.0 we were able to get it up on Jan 3, 2025 and haven't looked back since.
The reason why my team and I decided to post on this forum is because it's mainly UK based. We're thinking of switching over from Alpaca to IBKR to expand to other markets aside from the NDAQ, so please feel free to contact me or my team if you're interested in the project. We're also looking to partner with others interested in developing sentiment indicators as well as developing our backtesting library that everyone can use (currently we are using a paid version). This will be the last update we'll post to avoid spamming this thread. Thank you for all those interested.
