MetaStock Coding Request
:idea:My MetaStock coding request refers to spread trading in the futures market. Specifically, here's what I would like to do:
The spread trade involves going long July soybeans and shorting November soybeans. Instead of using the spread indicator in Metastock, I would like to create a "Spread Bar Chart" between the two contracts.
Example: The July Bean High - The Nov Bean High, The July Bean low - The Nov Bean low, which would create a single bar on the new Chart. I would also like to include the Open And Close in this chart as well, along with the total volume for all the bean contracts.
The new "Spread Bar Chart' would enable me to apply
all of the various indicators in Metastock as opposed to using the spread indicator which just gives me a line graph.
Can anyone help me with the coding ?
