Trading Units of an Energy Company

Hello,

I have a strange question, I do some small trading of penny stocks, but nothing major. I was issued 10,000 shares by an energy company, the shares have vested over the last three years, so they are all mine now.

However this is my quesiton: I understand not being able to exercise my shares when they were not fully vested because the market price is below the strike price. But now that the shares are fully vested and I own all 10,000 shares, cant I sell them for whatever price I want?

I submit this quesiton to you experts :D because when calling the brokerage service that represents the company, I keep getting convoluted answers and Im not entirely sure these idiots even know what their talking about. I talked to someone Friday who didnt even know what short selling was.

So is it possible to sell the stock - now that I own it all...at its market price ?? Or do I still have to wait until the stock gets over the strike price to get rid of it?

Thank you!
