Trading the JPY

I'm intrigued to know everyone's (anyone's) experience trading the JPY pairs. It's always been my lowest performing currency (to the point where I've already dropped GBPJPY), but recently my win % has dropped to zero on the USDJPY which makes me think I should avoid the JPY completely and stick to my more profitable pairs.

Anyone had any similar situations with the JPY? Safe haven related issues with COVID? Any advice is welcome.

This currency pair displays high levels of volatility, often driven by Asian market forces. As a result of this implied volatility, day traders have plenty of opportunities to turn a profit.
